A weekend of classics with Maestro Dr Richard Cock and the fabulous Joburg Festival Orchestra.
There will be four concerts over the two days, incorporating classical masterpieces and some lighter classics, plus a touch of jazz by the Charl du Plessis Trio. There will be a very entertaining afternoon talk by a music guru, and of course Dr Richard will give his well-loved pre-concert talks, and an introduction to the orchestra for the youngsters.
The venue is the Olifants River Lodge, nestled on the banks of the Olifants River. This semi-bushveld paradise is just two hours from Joburg and Pretoria, and less than three from Nelspruit. There’s plenty to do between concerts, including hiking and biking trails, birding and fishing, table-tennis and volleyball, heated and cold-water swimming-pools – this is an ideal getaway for families and friends.
Minimum 150 people.
