Classical Music Tour to New York
with Dr Richard Cock

Come and experience the music, culture and history of New York and Washington. Some of the planned highlights of the trip include violinist Joshua Bell and the NY Philharmonic, Tosca at the Metropolitan Opera House, New York Pops at Carnegie Hall, a selection of Broadway shows, an evening's razzle at a Jazz Club, and much more.

Cost:	In the region of R66 000 per person sharing. Costs will include return flights to the USA, hotel accommodation for the duration of the tour (three star or better), all meals, all local transport in USA, all music and sightseeing events on the itinerary.

Baroque in the Bush - 2010

Unique in the world, this event goes into its 16th successful year. As usual, we take over Shingwedzi Camp in the Kruger National Park for a weekend of sublime music with Dr Richard Cock and members of the Johannesburg Festival Orchestra. The midday and evening concerts will be supplemented with Richard's amusing and informative talks on the pieces being performed, and the composers who created them.

September is one of the best times of the year in the Park - the days are warm enough to encourage you into the pool, the evenings are beautiful, the trees are in full bud, and sometimes we're lucky enough to get a rainstorm. If you've never attended this event before, now is the time to join in the experience of a lifetime.
